In an one way game, Spain has consistently imposed Portugal 1-0 to win the right to face Paraguay in the quarter-finals 2010 World Cup. The Lusitano were too limited offensively to worry the European champions.

David Villa breakthrough on scoring in the 63rd minute against Portugal. Spain has been the hardest and must continue if the players want to get away. The expulsion of Ricardo Costa for a few obvious bad move on Capdevilla swept the last hopes Portuguese. That was all for a match which Spain will ultimately not much shaken, but the show was mostly or again not to go, especially because a very limited Portuguese selection.

Qualification logic of Spain, much more enterprising than Portugal has adopted a wait too for most of the meeting. Not a great night of Eduardo, the addition would have been even more salt to the selecção …

Man of the Match:
David Villa - In a game where Spain were again unable to quite hit the heights they are capable of, they required another goal from their predatory forward who claimed his fourth of the tournament to settle this second-round tie and move level with Robert Vittek and Gonzalo Higuain at the top of the goalscoring charts. Villa was a constant menace, as ever, and continues to demonstrate why he is the most feared striker in South Africa.

The two teams have never competed in the World Cup but they have already had the opportunity to compete on six occasions in the past. The Albirroja has not proven to be active against only one in Japan, but the Japanese had won the last confrontation in 2003.

Match Preview: Spain v Portugal

It's the most talented team in world football up against one of the most talented players ever to play the game. Two countries that share a national border, but have never met at a World Cup finals.

Spain, the favourites to win this World Cup, have a history of underperforming on the world stage but boast a near perfect team that waltzed to the European title in 2008.

Now ranked second in the world – Portugal are ranked third – Spain have quality in every position, with the best midfield at the tournament plus two of the most deadly strikers on the planet.

Yet they stumbled at the first hurdle at this World Cup, dominating the opening match but slumping to a shock 1-0 defeat to the defensive-minded Switzerland.

The Spaniards got back in the swing of things with a 2-0 victory over Honduras, before edging out the next most impressive team in their group, Chile, 2-1 to qualify as the top team in Group H.

Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal finished alongside Argentina as the top-scoring team in the group stage of the tournament after putting seven goals past North Korea.

Their defensive game has also looked rock solid – they are yet to concede a goal despite facing Brazil and African giants Ivory Coast.

And with Crisitano Ronaldo finally ending an 18-month goalless run for his country, it may be the time for the 2008 World Player of the Year to thrive in the biggest competition in world football.

It is arguably Portugal's defensive ability that will worry Spain the most. The European champions – who have a midfield boasting the likes of Xavi, Andres Iniesta and Xabi Alonso – are almost certain to dominate possession, but the group matches have shown that attacking game can be contained.

Portugal will sit back and aim to counter-attack through their wingers, most notably Ronaldo, who is likely to target one of Spain's few weaknesses – left back Joan Capdevila.

The Portuguese have threats elsewhere too, with six players getting on the scoresheet against North Korea (a team that had kept Brazil to just two goals in their opening match). One of those, box-to-box midfielder Raul Meireles, has been in superb form for Portugal at this World Cup.

But if it comes down to individual class, the Spaniards should prevail. David Villa is arguably the best finisher in the world, and has already scored three goals from three matches in South Africa. Fernando Torres is not in Villa's form but can always produce something special, while Xavi and Iniesta both have the passing skills to unlock any defence.

The winner here will advance to a quarter-final against either Paraguay or Japan, with a semi-final against Argentina or Germany to follow. The loser will be heading home.

Expect a Spain victory, but in a tournament that has already witnessed several upsets the Portuguese could well spring a surprise.

Stats: Spain are the only team yet to receive a yellow card, while Portugal are the only nation yet to concede a goal.

Spain player to watch: David Villa.

Brazil just won easily ahead of Chile 3 goals to 0 and be strong in the quarterfinals of the World Cup. Brazil had no difficulties to win his ticket to the quarterfinals of the World Cup in Chile a 3-0 besting too quickly outdated.

Brazil beat Chile 3-0 at the fourth round of the World Cup. The Brazilians made the difference in two minutes through goals from Juan, the head of a corner, and Luis Fabiano, who erased the Chilean goalkeeper and scored into an empty net. And in the second half, Robinho sent a curled right into the Chile netting side.

Juan’s head a corner and Luis Fabiano on a pass from Kaka goldsmith sealed the fate of the fourth round in the space of four minutes (34th and 38th). Robinho added the full-bodied in the second half. Final score 3-0!

Brazil will return in the quarterfinals the Netherlands for a classic World Cup. Defeated in 1974 in pool play, the Brazilians took their revenge in the quarterfinals, already in 1994 (3-2) and semi-finals in 1998 (1-1, 4-2 on penalty kicks). The Netherlands defeated Slovakia (2-1) in the afternoon in Durban.

Man of the Match: Juan - While Brazil's attacking trio will take all the plaudits again, the big centre back deserves his share of the praise after another impeccable game in defence. Juan opened the scoring for the Selecao with a prodigious leap and firm header, but he should also be commended for his positioning and reading of the game, which allowed him to snuff out a string of attacking moves launched by Chile's quick strikers. Will need to maintain this sort of form as the competition nears its final phase.

The Netherlands selection advanced to the quarter-finals of the 2010 World Cup, after winning a very harrowing victory against a selection of Slovakia, which was above their expectations.

The goal was inaugurated by its Holland star Arjen Robben who scored the 18th minute goal from the edge, remember that Robben returned in the previous game for an injury that had sidelined the field, is now back and hopes to continue helping the Dutch team.

The second goal was until the 84th minute in which Wesley Sneijder scored his goal, to give the advantage to 2-0 and the last goal was a minute by Robert Vittek via penalty to change the scoreboard 2-1 to Netherlands victory.

Round of 16

Argentina 3-1 Mexico

Argentina won the match 3-1 against Mexico to advance to the quarter-finals, however, the match was not free of referee controversies which has been happening for all the matches in the World Cup.

The first goal by Tevez came from an offside which was clearly shown on the big screen, however, the referee let the goal stay demoralizing the Mexicans. But two other goals are superb.

Hollywood Top 100 Celebrities

Hollywood

Hollywood is a neighborhood in Los Angeles, California. Due to its fame and cultural identity as

the historical center of movie studios and movie stars, the word "Hollywood" is often used as a

metonymy of American cinema.Today, much of the movie industry has dispersed into surrounding areas

such as the Westside neighborhood, but significant auxiliary industries, such as editing, effects,

props, post-production and lighting companies remain in Hollywood, as does the backlot of

Paramount Pictures.

Many historic Hollywood theaters are used as venues and concert stages to premiere major

theatrical releases and host the Academy Awards. It is a popular destination for nightlife,

tourism, and is home to the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

HollyWood New Movie

The A Team

The A-Team is a 2010 action film based on the television series of the same name. It was released in cinemas in the United States on June 11, 2010 by 20th Century Fox. The film was directed by Joe Carnahan and produced by Stephen J. Cannell and brothers Ridley and Tony Scott.

An elite army team is imprisoned for a crime they did not commit. They escape and set out to clear their name.

Casting

The role of Face was portrayed by Tim Dunigan in the pilot, but he was later replaced by Dirk Benedict, because Dunigan was "too tall and too young". According to Dunigan: "I look even younger on camera than I am. So it was difficult to accept me as a veteran of the Vietnam War, which ended when I was a sophomore in high school."

Tia Carrere was intended to join the principal cast of the show in its fifth season after appearing in the season four finale, providing a continuing tie to the team's inception during the war. Carrere was under a prior contract to General Hospital at the time, and was unable to join the cast of The A-Team. Her character was abruptly dropped as a result.

According to Mr. T's own account in Bring Back... The A-Team in 2006, the role of B.A. Baracus was written specifically for him from the beginning. This is corroborated by Stephen J. Cannell's own account of the initial concept proposed by Tartikoff.

James Coburn, who co-starred in The Magnificent Seven, was considered for the role of Hannibal in The A-Team, while George Peppard (Hannibal) was the original consideration for the role of Vin (played by Steve McQueen instead) in The Magnificent Seven.

FIFA World Cup 2010: Brazil beat Ivory Coast with Fabiano and Elano's helping hand Brazil 3-1 Ivory Coast

Brazil have made their way to the last 16 of the World Cup but the route was anything but scenic. The game had much cynicism in which opponents attempted to exaggerate the harm of any challenge, and Kaká was sent off by the referee, Stéphane Lannoy, with a second yellow card in the 88th minute.

He put out his elbow as the substitute Kader Keita ran towards him and, while that could primarily have been intended as self-protection, the action was risky. "He pushed him," said Sven-Goran Eriksson, the Ivory Coast manager. "How hard he hit him I don't know. It didn't look too bad."

The Swede then added, "Brazil should not complain." To Eriksson there was a rough justice in it all since his opponents eased into a 2-0 lead when Luís Fabiano's second goal ought to have been disallowed. "It's hard to cope with Fabiano, particularly when he handles the ball twice."

The rancour was reciprocated. "The player who commits the foul escapes the yellow card," said the Brazil manager Dunga. "I have to congratulate him for that. It was totally unjustified. Kaká was fouled and yet he was punished."

Only connoisseurs of gamesmanship and melodrama would have thought the match worthy of their time. Brazil had been far better in all departments. It ought to have been easy to let the occasion peter out even if Didier Drogba had headed home from Yaya Touré's delivery in the 79th minute.

In practice Brazil added lavishly to the irritations instead of rising above them. They are still entitled to be peeved that Elano's outstanding display ended with the former Manchester City midfielder being borne away on a stretcher with an ankle injury.

The tone of authority that is Brazil's trademark was visible for long enough to make sure of the points. Any notion that this country has a special duty to entertain always did have a patronising tone. We ought to salute Brazil for what they often are, leaders in the preparation and schooling of footballers.

The manager, Dunga, is the embodiment of that strand in his nation's sporting identity. It did not come as a surprise that Brazil scored twice in the opening fixture but people should have been puzzled when North Korea got a goal near the end. Dunga must have reconciled himself to the lapse since he chose the same starting line-up in Soccer City.

While resilience is a constant theme, a potential for the spectacular is always present as well. The side took the lead with an explosive goal in the 25th minute. Fabiano was involved early in the deft interplay that ended with Kaká returning possession to him for a searing finish from a tight angle that took the ball high past a helpless Boubacar Barry at the goalkeeper's near post.

The striker thus ended a goalless spell of nine months with his country. Pattern and purpose were more apparent from Brazil in the remainder of the first half. Ivory Coast's patchiness must be galling to tournament organisers who hoped to see an impressive African line-up. Eriksson's squad, though, is far below the leaders in the world rankings, Brazil.

Dunga's side were not short either of peripheral benefits. Having opened their campaign at Ellis Park, they enjoyed the advantage of staying in Johannesburg. The Ivorians were less well settled in more than one respect and even the restoration of the captain Drogba to the starting line-up conveyed as much unease as encouragement, irrespective of his eventual goal.

Great striker though he is, it was still bemusing that it could be deemed appropriate for him to play a full part with a fractured arm. At least the player himself did not act as if he had any misgivings about submitting himself to a rugged contest.

Kaká was not deterred either. He came to South Africa following a difficult time with Real Madrid, who were underachieving in any case. Nonetheless, an effective Kaká is a necessary element in Dunga's plan and, while his work at the goal was not astonishing, it was exactly what the moment required. Kaká, free of suspension, could be potent in the knockout stages.

By half-time the game looked as if it was moving well beyond the reach of Eriksson's squad. That impression seemed to be confirmed when Fabiano extended the lead with a goal of technique, persistence and considerable dubiety. His flicks took him away from Siaka Tiéné and Didier Zokora, twice, before his half-volley beat Barry, but along the way the ball had been guided by his arm.

Little went right for Ivory Coast and Drogba, free at the far post, was soon heading wide when he might have cut the deficit sooner. In essence his side were too weak in defence to contain Brazil, who relished the licence they were granted. A third goal came in the 62nd minute as an untroubled Kaká broke on the left and rolled the ball back for Elano to claim his second goal of the tournament.

He was to do further harm because he himself was damaged by a challenge from Cheick Tioté that caught him on the ankle. The midfielder was carried off and the game was depleted in the process. A slackening may have been inevitable but the decline was especially marked because of the loss of such a performer.

Brazil, despite the tarnished episodes, had hinted that not only are they potent but they have the means to play at a very high level as this World Cup takes shape.

British Petrolium's Gulf oil spill costs reach 2 billion USD

ON THE GULF OF MEXICO – BP said Monday it has now spent 2 USD billion responding to the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

And with no end yet in sight, that number is expected to keep rising.

BP PLC agreed last week to set up a $20 billion fund to compensate victims of the disaster on the Gulf coast. The company said Monday it has so far paid out $105 million to 32,000 claimants. Its shares were down 4 percent Monday in early trading in London at $5.12.

The news came as teams drilling the relief wells designed to stop the oil gushing into the Gulf continue a daunting task — hit a target roughly the size of a salad plate about three miles below the water's surface.

If the workers aboard Transocean Ltd.'s Development Driller II or its sister rig DDIII miss or move too slowly, oil will keep pouring into the sea.

No one on the rig has done this before because these deep sea interventions are so rare.

Still, the workers said they're confident they can stop the worst oil spill in U.S. history.

"It's really not a tough thing to do," says Mickey Fruge, the wellsite leader aboard the DDII for BP, which was leasing the rig that blew April 20 and is responsible for stopping the oil.

The relief wells are slowly grinding their drill bits 13,000 feet below the seafloor until they intersect the damaged Deepwater Horizon, the Transocean rig that exploded, killing 11 workers and triggering the massive oil leak. A group of reporters that included The Associated Press had a rare chance to tour the rig Saturday.

Reporters flew by helicopter above the patchy wetlands along the Mississippi River Delta and past the floating boom and skimmers that have failed to protect the Gulf Coast.

About 40 miles from the coast, a fleet of ships becomes visible. They look like toys packed in a two-mile-square patch of dull water. The approaching drill rig is easy to spot with its 200-foot derrick, offering what is likely the best chance for permanently stopping the nation's worst environmental disaster.

After the Sikorsky chopper settles on its landing pad, the thwack of the rotors quiets down, and a rig worker steps into the helicopter cabin.

"OK, welcome to the DDII," he says.

Glancing from the rig deck, it's clear this situation is not normal.

Out in the distance, another drilling rig is siphoning off oil and natural gas from the undersea well and burning it in a multi-nozzled flare. It looks like the flames are radiating from an oversized showerhead. Other ships hose off that rig's deck to keep the heat from building.

Meanwhile, a boom attached to a drill ship called the Discoverer Enterprise flares off natural gas taken from a containment cap that is sucking up oil from the well head. The distant flames are a constant reminder that crude and gas are leaking beneath the feet of those aboard the DDII as they walk across the see-through grating on its floor.

The Enterprise sits where the Deepwater Horizon rig exploded. Some of the DDII crew knew Transocean workers on that rig.

It's "always, always on our mind," said Wendell Guidry, Transocean's drilling superintendent on the rig.

BP has said a relief well should be ready by August, and the DDIII is farther along, having reached a depth of nearly 11,000 feet below the seafloor. Still, Guidry said, it's unclear which rig will hit the target first.

"Never know what will happen," he said. "You never know."

Work goes around-the-clock on the DDII, which can hold 176 people. Eight thrusters on the rig keep it precisely positioned over the well it's drilling. The ship is so large that those aboard cannot feel it move on the water most of the time — unusually still for a vessel at sea.

Coast Guard Adm. Thad Allen, the top federal official in the spill response, has said construction on the relief wells remains ahead of schedule. Jackson, however, noted that setbacks are routine on a drilling rig. Hydraulic hoses can snap. Early Saturday morning, one set of tongs used to tighten the casings broke down, forcing the teams to switch to a backup set.

"It's business as usual, man," said Eric Jackson, a tourpusher. "Everybody tells us to be, 'Hey, don't let the pressure get to you.' This is what we do for a living, man. We drill wells. It's the same as any other day."

Once one of the two relief wells intersects the damaged line, BP plans to pump heavy drilling mud in to stop the oil flow and plug the blown-out well with cement.

It's a tricky task and it's not guaranteed to work. A pair of relief wells took months to stop an undersea gusher in Mexico that started in the summer of 1979.

Guidry, who has been in an oil field for 27 years and worked his way up from a clothes washer, insists in his Louisiana drawl that the job is business as usual.

"We try to keep the guys focused," he said. "We're just treating this like we treat any other well that we drill."
